The reform to the Law Regulating Teleworking has been published in the Official Gazette La Gaceta, to guarantee workers' disconnection from work.
[/vc_column_text][us_separator][vc_column_text]Last Monday, April 25, 2022, the reform to Law number 9738 was published in the official newspaper La Gaceta “Law to Regulate Teleworking”, which establishes the right to “Disconnect from Work” for workers. Specifically, Article 9 of the aforementioned Law regarding the Obligations of Teleworkers, section d, was amended, adding the following legend: “Without prejudice to the provisions of the previous paragraph and in order to guarantee respect for their rest time, vacations, permits and their personal and family privacy, the teleworker will have the right to digital disconnection outside of the established working day or schedule, except in the case of unforeseen and urgent situations, in which their consent must be obtained.For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at infocr@lexincorp.com [/vc_column_text][us_separator][vc_column_text]Written by: Lic.
