Eugenio Vargas has 15 years of experience in the legal field, having worked both in law firms and in the corporate sector as an in-house lawyer.

At the start of his career, in 2004 and 2005, he worked as an associate lawyer in the areas of Immigration and Corporate Law at Lexincorp Costa Rica, which was then known as André Tinoco Abogados. In 2005, Eugenio moved to Spain to pursue a Master’s in Business Law.

Upon returning to Costa Rica in 2007, he worked as an associate lawyer at the firm “Cordero & Cordero Abogados” until mid-2012, where he gained extensive experience in Corporate Law, Real Estate Transactions, Insurance Law, and Industrial Property Law, advising mostly foreign investors interested in the country.

Afterward, he worked as an in-house lawyer in the legal department of Walmart, specifically as Deputy Manager of Formalization, handling the purchase or lease contracts for properties across the Central American region.

Since 2013, Eugenio Vargas has been working at Lexincorp Abogados Costa Rica in Real Estate Law (Real Estate Transactions), Corporate Law, and Labor Law, managing clients in sectors such as tourism, hospitality, construction, reforestation, industry, among others, as well as individuals seeking investment opportunities in the country.
