Ana Laura is a lawyer with a master’s degree in Business and Intellectual and Industrial Property Law from the International University of Catalonia (UIC) in Barcelona, Spain.
She has extensive experience in intellectual and industrial property law and has specialized in fashion law, a very innovative and recent area of practice in the country. Additionally, she has experience in corporate law, particularly advising companies on acquisitions related to the maritime zone.
She is currently the director of the Intellectual Property Department at the firm, specializing in the management and processing of large trademark portfolios for both national and international clients, including multinational companies.
Moreover, she is the director of the Costa Rica chapter of the Latin American School of Intellectual Property (ELAPI).
