Adriana Portillo has extensive experience in the corporate field, specializing in modern contracts, including the formalization of multiple Joint Venture agreements, M&A transactions between national and international partners. Additionally, Adriana specializes in advising clients on tax incentives.

Within her professional practice, she also specializes in Competition Law, having advised clients on economic concentration authorization requests, abuse of dominant position, horizontal and vertical practices, among others. In the field of competition, Adriana is a co-author of the book “Ten Years of Competition Defense in El Salvador” published by the Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado.

Adriana is a member of the thesis and dissertation examining board for the Doctorate program in Private Law at the Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado.
