Experience: José Andrés Fuxet Ciani has extensive experience in the area of real estate, having served as general manager of the real estate department of Lexincorp and advised important and major groups of developers and builders of housing projects in Guatemala. He has in addition collaborated in the planning of such projects, including advice on corporate reorganization, bringing along the capital restructuring of the various groups he advised.

Derived from the real estate field, he has also had extensive experience in the constitution of commercial companies both locally and off-site, as part of the business organization of his clients.

Throughout his professional career he has participated and advised the constitution of more than 15 condominiums, both houses and apartments through Condominium Regimes and Horizontal Property.

Education: Graduated in Legal and Social Sciences at the University Rafael Landívar in Guatemala;

Postgraduate in Civil Contracts at the General Foundation at the University of Salamanca in Spain;

Master’s degree in International Legal Studies at the American University in Washington, USA.

José Andrés Fuxet Ciani has advised and executed the legal aspects for the development of the Tiffany Cañada and Tiffany 5ª Buildings in an avenue in Guatemala, which are premium housing units that required the constitution of a horizontal property regime of approximately 60 to 80 apartments for each project.

He also serves as legal adviser for the Cayalá Acantos project, which is being developed in an exclusive area of Guatemala and forms a Hybrid Real Estate Project that includes the legal constitution of 27 residences and 3 apartment towers of 40 apartments each tower. It entails the implementation of regulations and specific regulations for the social coexistence of the Condominium.

He has accompanied the legal advice for the project Panorama Doña Victoria, which was developed in Antigua Guatemala and is made up of 30 condominium residences.

He is currently advising more than 5 real estate projects including apartments and residences.
